The treatment involves computer generated tools to guide laser beams all throughout the procedure. The surgeon measures the dimension of the corneal flap to be laser-incised, keeping the safety and precision through computer screens and monitors. After the cut is done, a specialized laser beam will be used to reshape the cornea to correct the error. After the procedure, the patient will not experience pain but rather mild irritation and discomfort which can be managed by analgesics. Blurry vision and watery eyes may also be manifested until the recovery and healing is over.
