3. Exercise often. Calories in calories out. If you want to lose weight then you have got to do resistance training and some form of cardiovascular exercise at least 3 times a week. I like to say 3 times for the resistance and 3 times for the cardio, thats 6 days a week.

4. Lower your fat intake. The proper amount of fat each day is slightly different for each person, however a general rule of thumb is 30 grams of healthy fat. Mono unsaturated, omega 3, these are all very beneficial fats.

5. Keep a food journal. This can be a small journal that you can keep in your back pocket. Really all you need to write down are the number of grams for fat, carbs, and protein that you eat each day.
