There are more than enough of facial acne products, but considering body acne is usually body-wide problem, this way will get too expensive very fast.

The answer is to find affordable, preferably natural and non-toxic home remedies. Or body wash for acne. Two widely recognized ingredients that work for acne are Benzoyl Peroxide and Salicylic Acid.

Benzoyl Peroxide is available usually as part of cream or gel products. It is a peeling agent, accelerating skin renewal process. When first applied and during the first week it may cause mild irritation or dryness. More most people though, skin develops tolerance during a week or two, after which negative effects usually go away. Some people might be especially sensitive to Benzoyl Peroxide, in which case they might be better try alternative acne remedies.

Benzoyl Peroxide comes in different concentrations, from 2.5% to 10%, which is likely to affect how your skin reacts. Consumers feedbacks tend to agree that low concentrated product just as effective on acne as higher concentrated ones, but cause less  side effects.

Salicylic Acid is widely used ingredient; it is often associated with those astringent lotions. The ever present problem with Salicylic Acid is while being quite efficient against acne, it often causes skin dryness. So it is a matter of finding the product that works for you. From my personal experience Zap-it! line of products is usually gentle on skin, while being harsh on acne. Salicylic Acid is usually comes at 05% to 2.5% concentration
