Fad diets receive a lot of attention for a little while. Then, like magic, they disappear from the diet scene. Another type of so-called- diet is known as laser weight loss. While laser therapy might help a person with how to lose weight, it is not a diet, nor does it help to keep lost weight off.
Laser weight loss is being advertised as the cold laser weight loss therapy. There are claims that its weight loss method is similar to an acupuncture treatment that does not pierce the skin. There are claims that the laser treatment speeds up the metabolism sufficiently to cause a weight loss.
The laser weight loss method is not a treatment, nor does it require the use of any specific type of weight loss diet. What you eat or do not eat is entirely up to the individual. However, this method does work with a daily workout, either in a gym or at home. Therefore, the amount of weight lost depends on intensity of the exercise along with the treatment. Simply put, the harder you exercise the faster your metabolism and the greater the weight loss. This occurs naturally, with or without laser treatments.
The laser weight loss method uses a low-intensity laser approach to losing weight. The method, which still has not been FDA approved is in its infancy stages. There is no information gathered yet as to whether the laser might cause harm to the body. There is further study needed before it can be stated that numerous laser treatments will, in fact, cause a weight loss.
The laser weight loss method depends on a treatment, a strict weight loss diet along with a daily work out regime. It does not work independently. You need to eat and lose weight. But eat in moderation and exercise too. It also does not help to relieve aches and pains of specific parts of the body, as does acupuncture treatments. It is said to work only by speeding the metabolism, which, in turn, causes a weight loss.
There are many other methods available that will speed up the metabolism to help lose weight. Join a weekly dance club, learn to jump rope as the boxer do, go jogging or merely take long walks. There is no magic in this weight loss method. Cutting back on the amount of food consumed in a day, not giving in to specific food cravings and eating less junk foods will help to lose weight.
Those who promote the laser weight loss as a weight loss method, claim it to be a fast and easy way to lose weight. They also state that in order for this type of weight loss system to begin to work, a person will need to have had at least five laser treatments – once a week. Each treatment cost varies depending on the length of laser treatment and whom you use.
Instead of paying for a laser weight loss treatment, it would be less expensive to join a health or exercise club and follow a healthy and nutritious diet to lose the weight.
