Fight Bacteria With Lemons

I glaze my fried chicken with lemons. Whenever I cook it, my son always gives me a kiss. Lemons are not only a must for your culinary masterpieces, but for your beverages as well. At least two tablespoons of lemon juice, if added to your other juice concentrate such as apples, pomegranate, or carrots are very potent in killing the harmful bacteria which constantly threaten your wellness.

In this era of modernization and technological advancement, remembering the ancient herbal practices still proves to be of greater value. Those who always have a hefty serving of their fruits and veggies, and choose healthy beverages are sure to live longer and happier lives since not only will they attain physical rewards, but their emotional health is at stake too.

Lemons are naturally uplifting and energizing, so if you feel depressed and quite not sure of how to go about things, a fresh lemon along with 3 carrots to fill your glass of concentrated juice will surely affect your mood. Who doesn’t want to have a better perspective in life? With all the negativity we see daily in the news, I sometimes become pessimistic. It’s really great to know that God has given us a better alternative for our health and wellness.

The bacteria from malaria, cholera, diphtheria and typhoid can be easily destroyed by the lemon juice. The medical missionaries of the Seventh Day Adventist community advocates this since they are fully aware that the less fortunate community cannot afford expensive medicines and since they are living in unsanitary places, are giving them a cheaper option in their goal to prevent the disease from spreading further.

Now that we have learned a better way in fighting bacteria, let’s stick to natural remedy because it has very minimal or at times, have no side effect at all. Synthetically produced medicine should only be taken in cases wherein it is a must. Be reminded of what Mother Nature has so generously placed around the world – the bountiful lemons!
